T & A Farm is a working farm that has been in the family since 1893 (118 years as of 2011!). In 1999, Tom and Abby planted the first pumpkin patch and have been inviting the public to come and experience the farm ever since. Our goal is to offer a real farm experience that you will look forward to repeating each pumpkin and strawberry season.
We will be a stop on the Crop Hop!
The Crop Hop (A Cycling Tour of So. Maryland Farms) is a fundraiser bike tour designed to highlight the connection between farms, fresh food and good health, and to help provide fresh farm foods to low-income families in Southern Maryland.
The 2012 Crop Hop will tour six farms in Southern St. Mary's County and will feature fabulous food grown and raised locally. Choose from four spectacular routes through the scenic So. Maryland countryside: a 62-mile route (metric century), a 29-mile route, a 13-mile route, and a family-friendly, 5-mile route.
